Going through my archives, I found an old photo of this client of ours. I took that portrait last 2009. It made me realise how much I have changed in the technique and in the technicality of a portrait. Whenever I took a headshot back in the day, I would simply ask the person to stand in front of the background, make an angle and smile. After all, I had the gear and the knowhow to make the photo look good, so I thought. Nowadays, it is more complicated than those instructions and my headshot clients will attest to that. Change is good especially if it is for the better.
